掌門三十年，對我接任開始編母語專欄，其實我真心虛，心虛做為一个寫作者，煞冷淡家己的母語幾十年。有時我真疑問，其實真正殺害家己母語的人，可能是咱家己吧，毋閣咱煞共這个罪推卸予殖民、政治佮教育的因素。我對母語的策劃，當然是會予解讀是意識型態作祟。毋閣，我想我是活跳跳的人，活的人總須要意識型態來支持伊想欲出力徛起來的雙跤吧。
　　感謝您的支持，也因為您的支持，不知不覺中有新的母語詩人提筆，對您我充滿感謝，也感謝母語新人的出現─相娶繼續行。

　　Since the Chairman Poetics has been there for 30 years, I really have a guilty conscience of having spurned disdainfully my mother tongue for many decades when I created the column for the mother tongues writing. I sometimes wonder who killed our mother tongues. Probably ourselves, but we are careless and shift the sin onto the colonizers, political forces and educational policies.The column for mother tongues writing would be interpreted as the ideologies of languages. Nevertheless, I realize that I am very much alive and a living human who shall stand his legs with the ideologies.
　　I deeply appreciate the supporters and new writers from various mother tongues groups ~ let us keep going.
