   On April 24, 1970, Peter Huang tried to assassinate Chiang Ching-kuo in New York. His arm was seized by a U.S. detective and the shot was deflected. He was then subdued on the ground. At that moment he yelled, "Let me stand like a man." His request was granted. He looked like a brave man in the picture of the New York Times the following day.

   Taiwanese are rarely treated like men should in the world, either in Taiwan or abroad.......Only because Taiwan has not been a formal nation. The obstacles are both the KMT and China. Let's struggle and fight for Taiwan independence.

   The UN Charter (of 1945) indicates that Taiwan's future shall be decided by self-determination through a plebiscite. Therefore, Taiwan could be one of all the possible options in this world. That means Taiwan could become an independent nation, or a 'colony' of any nation in the world, all depending upon the choice.

   Remember, Taiwan's choices are many, not only limited to China and Japan!

   The world history says the best choice is to claim independence.

   Not worth it, my friend.

   President Ma did a great job to help the Taiwanese fishermen. You should feel good about this.

   Talking like a Chinese slave, the 'Taiwanese in Hong Kong' must have a very different understanding about Taiwan.
