I checked the news reports of the New York Times and the Washington Post of April 6, 1975. Both said that Chiang Kai-shek suffered heart attack at 10:20 p.m. and died at 11:50 p.m. on April 5, 1975, Taiwan time.
One better source to double check could be the Chih-Li Evening News (Taipei) of April 6, 1975.
