余晏提案要求追討李慶安，議長拒絕議會討論
台北市議員簡余晏等十餘名議員26日在議場臨時提案，要求議會應發函給第七屆前議員李慶安，了解雙重國籍事宜，以避免市議會員工遭誤導登載不實涉及偽造文書公訴罪，而且議會應追繳其研究費與津貼。

不過，議長認為議會沒有這個職權，強調雖然議員臨時提案程序完備，但仍不宜討論，數度打斷提案議員簡余晏的談話。簡余晏強調，李慶安是1991年取得美國國籍，1994年宣誓就職，1995年還在議場今天開會的這個場地批評市府首長雙重國籍(詳見《李慶安1995年在議場罵官員雙重國籍的談話》)，此事如果議會就推給立法院、行政院而置身事外，我們無法對選民交待！台北市要做為一個進步的議會，就必須做出符合社會觀感與要求的決議，不能鄉愿！
議場中，洪健益議員、徐佳青議員等人聲援余晏，但議長仍堅持議會不該討論此事。
余晏在事後遺憾的表示，北市府連賤賣台北銀行等重大事項少有尊重議會，經費上成立一個又一個基金迴避議會監督，如果現在議會連去函給李慶安要求說明都不敢，議會自我閹割的結果，議會已形同台北市政府議會局而已。

The UN Charter of 1945 indicates that Taiwan is entitled to become an independent nation after passing a plebiscite (or referendum).
The KMT claims that Taiwan is a part of the ROC. It is a lie.
The CCP claims that Taiwan is a part of the PRC. It is a lie.
Taiwan is independent and will be an independent nation, sooner or later. Taiwanese should be happy and work hard for making Taiwan a normal nation.
There were two famous Hsieh lady politicians right after the end of WWII: Hsieh Er and Hsieh Hsue-hung. Hsieh Er was a medical doctor and got elected in 1946 as one of the 18 Kuo-dah-dai-biao of Taiwan.
On the afternoon of 02/28/1947, Hsieh Er was asked by Ger Ching-en, Secretary of the Governor Chen Yih, to brocast and announce to the general public that there was no casualty that morning. She was wrong. Her hospital was then broken in by angry people with her furnitures taken out and burnt.
In an interview conducted in 1985, Hsieh Er talked about the "228 Incident." She sighed and explained how she obtained that wrong information for her brocasting speech. She said, "How could I know he lied to me? How could I forsee a high ranking officer would cheat me?"
Public officers cheating or lying to people is a very common practice in China. This fact is one of the most important "first lessons" Taiwanese received from the Chinese after the end of WWII.

Revoke Lee Ching An's Citizenship
Lee Ching An's behavior may be justified for US authority to revoke her citizenship.
She has compromised her allegiance with US with her subsequent swearing to serve so called "ROC" interests.
Her citizenship is not going to be automatically canceled as Alien Ma Mark.
Her citizenship has to be either revoked or denounced infront of US reprsentative outside of land of USA.

Lee Ching An may have concealed her ultra motive to serve ROC's regime by defrauding US authority in her application for US citizenship. Judge by her declaring to ROC official disclosure that she has no foreign affiliciation while she applied and carrying an US passport. IT's obvious that she has defraud not only US authorities but also, so called ROC government. Her behavior should be condemned by US or/and ORC. Whoever nominated her to be candidate has been negligent or in conspiracy with her to defraud government as well as voters.
